Lot 1039:
Federal American Eagle Syntech .45 Auto Ammunition, 100 Rounds, 21st Century
Sold for: $50
Description
This lot features 100 rounds of Federal American Eagle Syntech range ammunition, model number AE45SJ1. The ammunition is chambered in .45 Auto and features a 230-grain Total Synthetic Jacket (TSJ) projectile. The Syntech line is a modern innovation by Federal Ammunition, utilizing a red polymer coating on the lead bullet to eliminate metal-to-metal contact between the projectile and the bore, which reduces friction, heat, and lead fouling. Each cartridge is constructed with a brass casing bearing the headstamp FEDERAL 45 AUTO and a standard centerfire primer. The rounds are organized in two original 50-count white plastic trays housed within their original cardboard boxes. The packaging displays the Federal bald eagle graphic and includes bilingual English and French product information.
