Description
RCBS (Rock Chucker Bullet Swaging) double cavity bullet mould, Part No. 82050. This specialized casting tool is designed for producing lead projectiles for the .45 Colt cartridge, yielding 255 grain Semi-Wadcutter (SWC) bullets. The mould blocks are constructed of heavy machined metal, likely cast iron or steel, featuring prominent crosshatching marks on the exterior surfaces. The blocks are secured by two guide pins to ensure alignment. The exterior of the blocks is clearly marked 45-255-SWC and R C B S. The assembly includes an attached blackened metal sprue cutter, operated by a lever and secured by a hexagonal nut. The mould is housed in its original RCBS green plastic storage box with a hinged lid and locking tab. The affixed label provides detailed specifications, including the recommendation for Sizer Die .454 and Top Punch #424.
