Description
A classic American pump-action shotgun manufactured by Savage Arms under the Stevens brand name. This is the Model 67 Series E, chambered for 12 Gauge shells, capable of handling both 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch loads. The firearm features a 28 inch barrel, suitable for field or sporting use. Construction includes dark blued steel components for the receiver and barrel. The furniture consists of a two-piece wooden stock set: a smooth, glossy buttstock fitted with a dark, ventilated recoil pad, and a lighter-toned, ribbed wooden forend designed for positive grip during cycling. Manufacturer markings are clearly visible on the barrel: STEVENS MODEL 67 SERIES E 12 GA. 2 3/4″ & 3″ SHELLS SAVAGE ARMS WESTFIELD, MA. U.S.A. The serial number E346440 is stamped on the side of the receiver. This model dates approximately to the mid to late 20th century.
