Description
This lot features a Smith & Wesson M&P 40 Shield striker-fired semi-automatic pistol chambered in .40 S&W. Manufactured in Springfield, Massachusetts, this compact firearm is a staple of the Military & Police line, designed specifically for concealed carry with its slim profile. The pistol is constructed with a durable black polymer frame and a matte black finished stainless steel slide. The left side of the slide is engraved with the M&P 40 SHIELD model designation and the company logo, while the right side bears the SMITH & WESSON manufacturer name and location. The frame is marked with the serial number HKY6676. Safety and utility features include a loaded chamber indicator on the top of the slide marked LOADED WHEN UP and a three-dot sight system. This specimen has been enhanced with an aftermarket Hogue brand rubber textured slip-on grip sleeve for improved handling. The lot is complete with three magazines: one blued steel magazine with a grip extension and two stainless steel magazines. Also included is a black plastic hard-shell carrying case.
