This lot features two highly sought-after RCBS reloading component kits designed for the popular .243 Winchester cartridge. RCBS, operating under OMARK INDUSTRIES at the time of the case molding, is a premier manufacturer of precision reloading equipment. The first kit is the “PRECISION MIC .243 WIN” (Part # 88305, UPC 0 76683 882). This kit includes two adjustable, knurled metal micrometer gauges and a calibration rod, designed for precise measurement of cartridge headspace and overall length. The accompanying instruction booklet cites U.S. Pat. No. 4,918,825, suggesting a design developed around 1990. The second kit is the “L DIE SET 243 WIN” (Part # 11401, requiring Shell Holder # 3). This set contains two large, threaded metal reloading dies with knurled adjustment surfaces, essential for resizing and seating bullets.
