Lot 117:
Remington 870 Tac-14 Highly Customized Tactical Pump-Action Firearm Assembly, Contemporary
Sold for: $550
Description
A highly customized, contemporary pump-action tactical firearm assembly built on the proven Remington 870 platform, consistent with the factory Tac-14 configuration. The firearm features a matte black finish on both metal and polymer components. The receiver is marked “Remington” and includes secondary manufacturer markings “MESA TACTICAL,” “RENO NV USA,” along with the serial number HF22251A and a 2D data matrix code. The action is pump-action, and the gauge is presumed to be 12 Gauge, standard for this model. The assembly is heavily accessorized, featuring a Mesa Tactical side-saddle shell carrier system mounted to the receiver, capable of holding a total of ten shells (six on the right side, four on the left). The forend is a polymer shroud marked “MAGPUL” and “MOE 870.” The barrel assembly is covered by a perforated heat shield, bearing partial location markings such as “TON OMP L NY” (likely indicating Ilion, NY, the traditional home of Remington manufacturing). The muzzle is fitted with an aggressive, serrated breaching choke or brake. The firearm is equipped with a synthetic pistol grip in place of a traditional buttstock, consistent with non-NFA “firearm” status. Additional aftermarket rail/accessory sections featuring ring-style finger holes are mounted near the receiver. Note: This item is classified as a firearm and is subject to all federal, state, and local regulations.
