Lot 1183:
Unmarked Manufacturer .45 Caliber 230 Grain Plated Round Nose Bullet Tips, Bulk Lot of 500
Sold for: $80
Description
This lot comprises 500 individual metallic projectiles intended for handloading and reloading of ammunition, specifically matching the profile and weight commonly associated with the .45 ACP (Automatic Colt Pistol) cartridge. The components feature a truncated round nose profile (RN) and are constructed with a bright, copper-colored plating or thin jacket over a dark gray lead core. The base of each projectile is exposed lead, characteristic of plated or jacketed bullets designed for target or practice use. The lot is sold in a clear, unbranded plastic storage bag. Due to the lack of discernible manufacturer markings, brand names, or model numbers, the specific maker cannot be definitively identified. The consensus caliber is .45, and the consensus weight is 230 grains. No measurements are provided as no scale was present during inspection.
