A classic American utility-grade exposed-hammer, side-by-side shotgun manufactured by Crescent Fire Arms Co. of Norwich, Connecticut, USA. Crescent Fire Arms Co. was known for producing affordable, reliable sporting arms during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The firearm features a break-open action, double external hammers, and double triggers. The construction consists of blued steel barrels and receiver components paired with a wooden stock and forearm exhibiting a reddish-brown finish. The grip areas feature machine-cut checkering. Manufacturer markings stamped on the left side of the receiver clearly read: “Crescent Fire Arms Co” and “Norwich, Conn USA.” The serial/inventory number 406635 is visible on the metal surface near the breech. The shotgun features 30-inch side-by-side barrels. Caliber is unverified.
