Lot 1259:
Lee Precision Bullet Sizing and Lubricating Kits, .452 and .457 Caliber, Late 20th Century
Sold for: $70
Description
This lot consists of two professional bullet sizing and lubricating kits manufactured by Lee Precision, a prominent American maker of reloading equipment. These kits are engineered for the precision handloading of ammunition, specifically designed to size cast lead bullets to a uniform diameter for improved accuracy and performance. The components are crafted from machined steel and feature aluminum hexagonal lock rings equipped with rubber O-rings for depth adjustment. The collection includes one kit for .452 caliber and one for .457 caliber, each housed in the manufacturer’s signature translucent red plastic cylindrical storage canisters. The containers are hand-marked with their respective calibers in black ink, and the LEE brand name is stamped into the metallic die bodies. These tools are used in conjunction with a standard reloading press to ensure bullets are perfectly concentric and properly lubricated before assembly.
