Lot 1292:
Bonanza Precision Automatic Primer Press Heavy Duty Cast Metal Reloading Tool with Original Box
Sold for: $80
Description
A vintage Bonanza Precision Automatic Primer Press, constructed of heavy red-painted cast metal. This specialized reloading tool is designed for the precise and consistent seating of primers into cartridge cases. The brand name “BONANZA” is clearly molded into the side of the operating lever. The lot includes the primary press unit, its original beige cardboard retail packaging marked “BONANZA PRECISION AUTOMATIC PRIMER PRESS” and “RELOADING EQUIPMENT,” and a clear plastic zip-closure bag containing various dark metal accessories. These accessories include at least two circular discs, one hex wrench, and other cylindrical components, which are essential parts for the primer feeding and seating mechanism. Also included are two long, silver-colored metal rails, likely aluminum, intended for use as primer feed tubes or mounting bars. This press represents a classic piece of mid-to-late 20th century specialized reloading equipment.
