Description
A classic Marlin Model 80-DL bolt-action rimfire rifle chambered for .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle ammunition. The rifle features blued steel construction and is mounted in a polished wood stock. The barrel is clearly marked with the manufacturer information: “The Marlin FIRERMS CO. NEW HAVEN, CONN U.S.A. – ESTB ’70,” and the model and caliber designation: “MODEL 80-DL – 22 CAL – S – L – LR.” The action is operated by a bright metal bolt handle. The rifle is equipped with adjustable iron sights and includes sling swivel studs attached to the stock. The lot includes one accompanying detachable box magazine constructed of black sheet metal with an orange polymer follower. This model was a popular sporting and target rifle produced by Marlin during the mid-20th century.
