The dies feature heavy knurling on the adjustment knobs and locking rings, characteristic of vintage RCBS quality and design. The set is housed in its original hinged, rectangular green plastic storage case, marked with the RCBS brand name, the “PRECISIONEERED RELOADING DIES” slogan, and the iconic groundhog/gopher crosshairs logo. Manufacturer information lists RCBS, INC. OROVILLE, CALIFORNIA 95965. The caliber is clearly marked “223 FL” (Full Length) on an affixed side label. A small adjacent paper snippet bears the numbers “77,” suggesting a potential manufacturing or packaging date of 1977.
