Lot 1336:
Golden Tiger 7.62x39 FMJBT 124 Grain Ammunition, Modern Production
Sold for: $60
Description
This lot features 100 rounds of Golden Tiger brand 7.62x39mm ammunition, packaged across six original factory boxes. The cartridges are specified as Full Metal Jacket Boat Tail (FMJBT) design, weighing 124 grains (GR). The packaging is highly recognizable, featuring a striking orange and yellow color scheme with a graphic of a roaring tiger’s head. The ammunition is constructed with a lead core and utilizes olive-green lacquered steel cases, paired with copper-colored projectiles. The packaging confirms the ammunition is non-corrosive. A distinctive purple sealant is visible surrounding the neck of the casing where the bullet is seated, a common feature of imported Russian ammunition designed for moisture resistance. This caliber is widely used in SKS and AK platform rifles.
