This Smith and Wesson model SW99 is a semi-automatic 9x19mm (9mm) pistol produced through a design collaboration between Smith and Wesson and Walther. The firearm features a black polymer frame manufactured in Germany, stamped with the Walther patented logo and Frame Made in Germany. This is paired with a matte-finished metal slide produced by Smith and Wesson in Springfield, Massachusetts. The slide includes manufacturer markings and import stamps for C.A.I. Georgia, VT. The pistol bears serial number SAA7102 on the rear of the frame, which matches the provided original cardboard shipping box.
