Description

This lot consists of a bulk quantity of cast lead bullet projectiles designed for reloading .38 Special and .357 Magnum cartridges. The projectiles feature a semi-wadcutter (SWC) profile with a flat-nosed, stepped design and multiple grease grooves. This specific shape is traditionally utilized by target shooters to produce clean, circular holes in paper targets. Each bullet is cast from a dark gray lead alloy and the grooves are pre-filled with a yellowish, waxy lubricant intended to reduce lead fouling within the firearm barrel. No manufacturer names, brand markings, or model numbers are present on the bullets or the accompanying packaging, which is consistent with bulk commercial or high-quality private-cast components from the late 20th century. These are inert components (tips) only and do not include casings, primers, or powder. Measurements: Approximately .358 inch diameter.
