Description
This is a Smith & Wesson Model SW99 semi-automatic striker-fired pistol chambered in 9x19mm. The SW99 was produced as a joint venture between Smith & Wesson and Walther, utilizing a German-manufactured Walther P99 polymer frame and an American-manufactured steel slide and barrel. The left side of the slide is marked SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MA U.S.A. and SW99. The right side of the slide bears the markings C.A.I. GEORGIA, VT MADE IN UNITED STATES and SMITH AND WESSON 9X19 SW99. The black polymer frame is marked FRAME MADE IN GERMANY and features the Walther patent logo. The firearm is equipped with a 4-inch barrel and three-dot sights. Serial number SAA6785 is visible on the rear of the slide and the backstrap channel. The lot includes one detachable metal magazine and the original cardboard shipping box with labels matching the model and serial number. Barrel length: 4 inches.
