Description
A modern production lever-action repeating rifle manufactured by Amadeo Rossi S.A. in Brazil, imported by Interarms of Alexandria, Virginia. This rifle is a reproduction of the classic Winchester Model 1892 design, designated the Model 92 SRC (Saddle Ring Carbine). The rifle features dark wooden stocks and forend paired with a deep blued finish across the receiver, barrel, and full-length magazine tube. The caliber is marked on the barrel or receiver top as .45 COLT. Markings include “MODEL 92 SRC” and “INTERARMS / ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA” on the underside plate, and “AMADEO ROSSI S.A. – MADE IN BRAZIL” on the upper tang. The serial number AM024574 is stamped vertically on the left side of the receiver. The carbine is fitted with a light tan suede or buckskin buttstock cover, laced onto the buttstock, and a piece of brown material is wrapped around the lever loop, likely for comfort or protection. This is a centerfire repeating rifle. No scale or ruler is present.
