A classic American double-barreled sporting arm manufactured by the renowned Lefever Arms Co. This hammerless, side-by-side shotgun features a break-action design with double triggers. The barrels measure 26 inches in length. The receiver flats and trigger guard tang are stamped with the serial number 24300, with the action flats also bearing the suffix “G,” potentially indicating a specific grade or configuration within the Lefever product line. The side plates are clearly marked “LEFEVER ARMS CO.” The furniture consists of dark stained wood, likely walnut, featuring fine checkering on the wrist of the buttstock and the forearm. The buttstock is fitted with a black composite buttplate adorned with a diamond checkered pattern and a central molded emblem displaying elaborate, intertwined scrollwork.
