Lot 1568:
RCBS Precisioneered Reloading Die Set for .348 Winchester in Original Green Case
Sold for: $50
Description
A vintage RCBS Reloading Die Set, identified by the handwritten label as being chambered for the uncommon .348 Winchester caliber. The set is housed in its original RCBS green hinged plastic storage case featuring the classic “PRECISIONEERED” branding and the gopher/rodent logo within a crosshair target. The case label clearly displays the manufacturer address: RCBS INC. OROVILLE, CALIFORNIA 95965. This address and packaging style suggest production likely occurred during the mid-to-late 20th century. The set includes two large, bright metal reloading dies, characterized by heavy knurling and threading, along with one small brass-colored accessory component, which functions as the shell holder. The .348 Winchester caliber is highly sought after by enthusiasts reloading for the classic Winchester Model 71 lever action rifle. Dimensions not provided.
