Description
A comprehensive, modular semi-automatic rifle system manufactured by Windham Weaponry, based in Windham, Maine, U.S.A. This is the Multi-Caliber System (MCS) designed to allow the user to quickly convert the rifle between four distinct calibers using interchangeable barrels and magazine well adapters. The core receiver is marked “Windham Weaponry MCS AR MAG WELL,” “W.W.I. Windham, ME U.S.A.,” and “CAL. MULTI,” bearing the serial number M01098. The rifle is currently assembled in the standard AR configuration with a collapsible stock, textured pistol grip, and a quad rail handguard system. The assembled barrel is marked “W W 5.56 1/9.” The kit includes thirteen additional components necessary for conversion, housed within a black ribbed Plano Gun Guard plastic hard case. The conversion components consist of three additional interchangeable barrels marked “GM-9MM NATO,” “W W .300 BLACKOUT 1/7,” and “W W 7.62×39 1/9.5”; two separate bolt carrier groups (BCGs); and two specialized magazine well adapters labeled “MCS 9mm-C MAG WELL” and “MCS AK47 MAGWELL CAL 7.62 MM.” Also included are two polymer magazines (one curved, one straight), the original manual titled “THE NEW Windham Weaponry MULTI-CALIBER SYSTEM,” a yellow plastic safety flag, and small bags containing parts and a wrapped component.
