Lot 231:
Kel-Tec SUB-2000 9MM Semi-Automatic Folding Carbine Rifle, OD Green, Modern Production
Sold for: $375
Description
A highly desirable Kel-Tec SUB-2000 semi-automatic folding carbine rifle, manufactured by Kel-Tec CNC Inc. in Cocoa, Florida, USA. This model is the SUB-2K9 GLK17 variant, chambered in 9MM Luger, designed to accept widely available Glock 17/22 magazines. The rifle features a unique folding mechanism that allows the barrel assembly to fold back over the receiver, significantly reducing the overall length for storage and transport. The furniture is constructed of durable polymer finished in Olive Drab (OD) Green, contrasted with black metal components, including the barrel and buffer tube. The barrel length is approximately 16.1 inches. Markings on the receiver include “SUB-2000,” “KEL TEC CNC INC. COCOA FL,” “MADE IN USA,” and “G17/22 MAG.” The buffer tube bears the identifier “1T2R52.” The lot includes the original brown cardboard shipping box, marked with the Kel-Tec logo and a product label confirming the model “SUB-2K9 GLK17” with “BLUED/GREEN GRIP 17 RD Magazine.” Also included are the original safety and instruction manual (“SUB2000 SUB CQB SAFETY, INSTRUCTION & PARTS MANUAL”), a magazine catch instruction sheet detailing multi-mag variants, two brand decals, and a small packet of factory parts.
