Lot 327:
Russian SKS Semi-Automatic Rifle with ATI Fiberforce Stock and 4x28 Scope, Post-1990s Configuration
Sold for: $450
Description
A modified Russian SKS (Samozaryadny Karabin Simonova) semi-automatic rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm caliber. The rifle features a black metal finish on the barrel and receiver. The original military stock has been replaced with a black synthetic, skeletonized thumbhole stock, consistent with the Advanced Technology International (ATI) Fiberforce design, a common aftermarket modification for the SKS platform. The action is gas-operated semi-automatic. Markings visible on the receiver specify the origin and importer data: “RUSSIA SKS 7.62×39 NHM SAC. CA.” The rifle bears the identifying numbers “HB 7502” and serial number “9908724.” The rifle is equipped with two accessories: a fixed, folding metal bipod attached near the muzzle, and an optical sight marked “4×28” mounted via an accessory rail atop the receiver. The scope displays a standard crosshair reticle. The barrel length is standard for the SKS model.
