Gerber MP400 Compact Sport and Leatherman Rebar Stainless Multi-Tool Lot, c. 2000-2015
Sold for: $100
Description
A two-piece lot of premium American-designed stainless steel multi-tools. The first tool is a Gerber Multi-Plier 400 Compact Sport (MP400), marked GERBER U.S.A. on the frame, featuring silver-tone stainless steel construction with black polymer grip accents. This tool is presented with its original black and dark gray product box, labeled with model code 05500N, and an accompanying black fabric sheath embroidered with the GERBER logo. The box label indicates the product description “Stainless, Sheath” and a partial origin of “MADE IN CHINA,” contrasting with the U.S.A. marking found directly on the tool itself. The second tool is a Leatherman Rebar multi-tool, marked LEATHERMAN and LEATHERMAN REBAR on the handles. The Rebar features etched measurement scales along the side panels, providing both standard (inches) and metric (centimeters) rulers for utility. Both tools are currently presented in the fully unfolded plier configuration. This lot represents two distinct eras and manufacturers of high-quality portable utility tools. The total quantity of multi-tools in this lot is 2.
