Lot 364:
MTM Case-Gard Style Box of 100 Rounds .45 ACP Centerfire Pistol Ammunition, Mixed Components
Sold for: $60
Description
A collection of 100 centerfire pistol cartridges stored within a translucent red/pink hinged plastic ammunition storage box, consistent with the design of MTM Case-Gard 100-round utility boxes. The box features an internal tray designed to hold 100 rounds upright. The lot contains 98 cartridges standing upright and two additional cartridges lying horizontally across the rows. The ammunition is confirmed as .45 ACP caliber, based on visible headstamps. This lot consists of mixed manufacturer components, suggesting reloaded or custom-assembled ammunition. Headstamps observed on the brass casings include “45 AUTO,” “S & B” (Sellier & Bellot), “W-W” (Winchester-Western), “MIDWAY,” and “AUTO.” The lot features varying projectile types, including one cartridge with a prominent lead-tipped bullet and others with jacketed projectiles. The majority of casings are brass, with one upright cartridge appearing to have a nickel-plated or silver-colored casing. The plastic box lid features reflective internal text referencing quantities and a partially torn blue and white label adhered to the exterior.
