This lot features two sets of rifle reloading dies for the .243 Winchester caliber, manufactured by Hornady and Lee Precision. The primary set is a Hornady New Dimension 2-die full-length set, Model No. 044244, Series I, produced by Hornady Manufacturing Co. of Grand Island, Nebraska. This set is housed in its original red translucent plastic case and retains its original black and red cardboard outer sleeve. The second set includes Lee Precision dies, with individual components stamped LEE-243 and 243-D3, also contained within a red translucent plastic case. The collection is accompanied by a shell holder, a small black L-shaped hex key, and a small cylindrical metal component. These tools are constructed of machined steel and are designed for the precision handloading of .243 Winchester ammunition, a caliber widely utilized for sporting and hunting applications since the 1950s.
