Description
This auction features a Smith and Wesson Model 59 semi-automatic pistol, This specimen is chambered in 9mm Luger and features a 4-inch barrel. The construction consists of a blued carbon steel slide paired with a lightweight aluminum alloy frame finished in a high-gloss black. The firearm is fitted with original checkered walnut grip panels, each adorned with a silver-tone Smith and Wesson medallion. Markings are crisp and include the manufacturer name and Springfield, Massachusetts address on the left side of the slide, with the serial number A651128 and Model 59 designation stamped on the frame. The barrel hood is marked 9 MM, and the right side of the frame bears the traditional Smith and Wesson trade mark logo.
