Description
This lot comprises 100 individual boxes of rifle ammunition produced by the JSC Barnaul Cartridge Plant, located in Barnaul, Russia. Each factory box contains 20 cartridges of .223 Remington (5.56x45mm) caliber, totaling 2,000 rounds for the lot. The ammunition is configured with 55-grain (3.56 g) Full Metal Jacket Boat Tail (FMJ BT) projectiles and features polymer-coated steel cases with non-corrosive primers. The packaging is the standard commercial red, white, and blue design featuring the Barnaul brand name and the BPZ (Barnaulsky Patronnyi Zavod) logo. The reverse of the packaging includes the manufacturer’s address at 28, P.S. Kulagina Str. and relevant contact information. Barnaul is recognized as one of the largest producers of small arms ammunition in Russia, with a history dating back to the 19th century, though this specific packaging style and the inclusion of the barnaulammo.com web address indicate modern production from the last two decades. Purchasers should be aware that ammunition is subject to specific shipping regulations and regional legal restrictions.
