NORINCO 97 Pump-Action Shotgun, 12GA, Exposed Hammer Trench Gun Style, Modern Production
Sold for: $475
Description
A modern production Norinco Model 97 pump-action shotgun, manufactured in China and imported by IAC Billerica, MA. This firearm is a faithful reproduction of the classic Winchester Model 1897 design, featuring an exposed hammer and traditional styling popular among Cowboy Action Shooting enthusiasts and collectors of historical military shotguns. The shotgun is chambered for 12 gauge 2 3/4 inch shells. The construction utilizes blued steel components paired with wooden furniture, including a smooth buttstock and a vertically ribbed slide-action forend. The barrel length is 20 inches, consistent with desirable “trench gun” or defensive configurations. Key markings include “NORINCO 97,” the caliber designation “12GA 2 3/4″,” and the importer stamp “IAC BILLERICA MA.” The country of origin “MADE IN CHINA” is also marked. The serial or control number “000 1317” is visible near the magazine tube opening.
