Lot 482:
RCBS Uniflow Powder Measures (Lot of 2) for Reloading, Mid-Century Design
Sold for: $130
Description
This lot includes two vintage RCBS Uniflow powder measures, essential tools for precision handloading and ammunition reloading. Both units feature the classic RCBS textured green cast metal body and tall, translucent green plastic hoppers designed to hold smokeless powder. The measures utilize a rotating metering chamber operated by a lever arm. The unit on the left is clearly marked “UNIFLOW” on the metal collar and features a knurled metal cylindrical handle on its lever arm and a simple side adjustment screw. The unit on the right features a black ball-style handle on its lever arm and a more complex, prominent black knurled adjustment ring near the metering chamber, suggesting it may be a slightly different model variation or a Competition series component. Both units are equipped with threaded mounting bases compatible with standard reloading presses and include the ribbed green plastic drop tube inserts. These devices are designed for accurate and consistent dispensing of gunpowder charges. No measurements are available as no scale or ruler is present in the image.
