Description

A substantial collection of spent ammunition components, confirmed by the consignor to include .44 Remington Magnum empty brass casings. The lot is presented in two groups: a large, uncounted bulk quantity sealed in a clear plastic bag, and eight individual hulls displayed separately for inspection. The components consist primarily of cylindrical cartridge casings constructed of brass or bronze-toned metal, interspersed with a smaller quantity of nickel or silver-colored metal hulls. The eight separated components are notably longer, suggesting the inclusion of large-caliber rifle or shotgun hulls; one visible headstamp base on an inspected hull indicates a ’16’ caliber or gauge. These components are intended for use as reloading material, craft supplies, or display. Due to heavy wear and tarnish, no manufacturer marks, patent dates, or serial numbers are legible across the collection.
