Description
A specialized Carbine Conversion Unit (CCU) manufactured by Mech-Tech Systems, designed to convert compatible Glock pistols into a carbine configuration, utilizing the pistol’s lower receiver and magazine well. This particular unit is the CCU Model, confirmed by the accompanying Operation & Maintenance Manual (copyright 2014, Made in the USA). The assembly is constructed primarily of black textured polymer and metal, featuring a distinctive skeletal wire stock for stabilization. The barrel section is stainless or brushed metal, terminating in a ported black muzzle device. The internal breach component is stamped “9 MM,” indicating compatibility with 9mm Glock models. The unit includes a top-mounted Picatinny/Weaver rail for the attachment of optics or sighting systems, and a charging handle.
