Lot 569:
RCBS Omark Industries 3-Die Set for .38 S&W RN Reloading Dies 1970s-1980s
Sold for: $50
Description
A vintage three-piece reloading die set manufactured by RCBS during the era of ownership by Omark Industries, dating this lot likely between the late 1960s and mid-1980s. The set is specifically designed for reloading the .38 S&W (Smith & Wesson) cartridge with a Round Nose (RN) bullet profile. The set includes three separate machined metal dies, each featuring standard threading and knurled lock rings. The components are housed in their original hinged, textured green plastic storage case, which bears the embossed RCBS logo over the OMARK INDUSTRIES mark. An adhesive yellow and white label on the case identifies the contents as a “3 DIE SET 38 S/W RN,” designated as “GROUP F,” with Part # 20304. The label also specifies the requirement to “USE SHELL HOLDER # 6.” This set represents a classic piece of American reloading equipment history.
