Lot 586:
Speer and Sierra Vintage .44 Caliber Reloading Bullet Tips Assortment (Six Boxes)
Sold for: $55
Description
A lot consisting of six containers of vintage reloading bullet tips, primarily .44 Caliber, designed for handloading enthusiasts and collectors of vintage ammunition accessories. The lot includes products from two major manufacturers: Speer and Sierra. Four containers are yellow plastic boxes branded Speer, identifying the manufacturer as Omark Industries. Specific model numbers visible include 4425, 4459, and 605. The Speer Model 4425 box specifies the contents as 100 count, .44 Caliber, 200 Grain, .429 inch Jacketed Magnum Hollow Point bullets. The remaining two containers are green cardboard boxes branded Sierra Sports Master. The interior views confirm the presence of numerous copper-jacketed lead bullets in various styles, consistent with the specified caliber and weight ranges. The Speer/Omark association suggests a mid-to-late 20th century manufacturing period for these components. No measurements are available.
