This lot features a pair of vintage Uncle Mike’s Sidekick gun holsters manufactured by Michaels of Oregon. Both items are finished in a traditional woodland camouflage pattern and are constructed from rugged patterned nylon fabric with brown webbing straps and durable plastic hardware. These holsters are specifically engineered for Size 11 firearms, accommodating single and double-action revolvers with barrel lengths ranging from 9.5 inches to 10.75 inches. According to the manufacturer documentation, these units are compatible with various large-frame models from Ruger, Smith and Wesson, Dan Wesson, Freedom Arms, and Virginian Dragoon. The first item is a Right-Hand Bandolier Hunting Holster, Set No. 9211-1, featuring its original retail hanging tag. The second item is a Vertical Shoulder Holster, Set No. ending in -2, which remains in its original clear plastic and cardboard retail packaging. Both holsters cite U.S. patents 4,485,947, 4,485,948, and 4,620,654, which date the design and production to the mid-to-late 1980s.
