Description
This lot consists of a large quantity of once-fired brass cartridge cases chambered in 7.62x51mm, intended for use as reloading components. The collection is distributed across three clear plastic bags and contains brass from various manufacturers. Key markings transcribed from the headstamps include S & B 21 7.62×51, signifying production by Sellier and Bellot in 2021, and PPU 20 7.62×51, signifying production by Prvi Partizan in 2020. The cases exhibit struck primers with distinct red sealant rings. The brass shows varying levels of surface tarnish, with one bag containing notably more weathered and darkened cases than the others. A small white adhesive label marked 13052 is present on one bag. This lot is comprised solely of spent brass cases; no live ammunition, projectiles, or firearms are present.
Condition report:
The cartridge cases are in once-fired, spent condition. The brass in the two primary bags retains much of its original luster with light surface tarnish and minor dings from ejection. The cases in the third bag show a much darker patina and more advanced surface oxidation. All primers are struck and remain in the pockets. The cases appear to be in reloadable condition subject to standard cleaning and resizing procedures.
