Gun Collectors Dream Auction #83 May 2nd & 3rd TWO DAYS - NO RESERVES - 1200 LOTS!
Lot 1030:
Description
This lot consists of a bulk quantity of spent ammunition shell casings housed in a cardboard shipping box. The collection includes approximately 800 loose casings in a mix of brass and nickel-plated finishes. Identifiable headstamps from the representative samples include WINCHESTER 45 COLT, W R A 38 SPECIAL, and a Starline casing marked with two six-pointed stars and a curved line above 45 COLT. The casings are in fired condition, displaying various degrees of tarnish, minor surface scratches, and residues typical of once-fired brass. These components are intended for reloading purposes and are sold as inert spent shells.
Condition report:
The casings are in once-fired condition. Finishes include natural brass and nickel plating. Surface conditions vary from bright to heavily tarnished. Some casings exhibit minor dings or mouth deformations common in bulk-stored fired brass. All items appear to be inert spent shells.
