Description
A lot of 500 Federal Lightning .22 Long Rifle cartridges. This ammunition features brass cases with a raised F headstamp and lead round nose bullets. The cartridges are housed in a single white plastic tray, which is contained within an original blue and yellow cardboard bulk pack box. While the exterior packaging is marked for a quantity of 500 rimfire cartridges, this lot consists of the 500 rounds currently present. Key markings on the box include the Federal brand name, the Lightning model designation, and the caliber specification of .22 Long Rifle. The graphics on the box include a prominent yellow and white lightning bolt against a dark blue background. The cartridges are arranged in a nose-to-tail configuration within the tray, with one additional cartridge resting horizontally across the center.
Condition report:
The cardboard box shows visible shelf wear consistent with age, including scuffing to the printed surfaces, fraying at the corners, and minor creasing along the edges. The ammunition appears to be in good physical condition with clean brass cases and no significant oxidation or corrosion on the lead bullets. The cartridges appear live, though we have not function-tested this ammunition.
