The second row comprises a pair of pearlescent synthetic panels featuring inset silver-tone medallions with a rampant horse motif, a pair of ornate wood panels with gold-tone metal overlays, and a pair of checkered dark wood panels with gold-tone rampant horse medallions. The Texas-themed panels are notably detailed, featuring gold-tone scrollwork and transcriptions that read The Republic of Texas, 1836-1845, and God bless Texas, along with a lone star and a map of Texas. All panels are configured for standard full-size frames.
Condition report:
The collection is in good overall condition. The wood panels show sharp checkering and minimal wear to the finish. The synthetic panels exhibit light handling marks and surface scratches consistent with minor use. The metal overlays and medallions on the decorative pairs are securely attached and retain a bright appearance with no significant tarnishing or loss of detail. There are no visible cracks or structural repairs to any of the panels.
