Description
This lot features a Tisas Model 1911A1 semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP. Designed as a tribute to the classic military sidearm, the firearm is equipped with a 5 inch barrel and a matte black finish across the slide and frame. The pistol is fitted with black checkered polymer grips and features traditional 1911A1 elements including a spur hammer, a grip safety, and fixed iron sights. Key markings include the model designation MODEL 1911 A1 on the left side of the slide and the importer mark IAC BILLERICA, MA on the left side of the frame. The right side of the frame is marked Made in Turkey and TISAS T0620, and bears the serial number 11Y00822. The top of the barrel hood is stamped .45 ACP. Included with the firearm is one single-stack magazine and a black plastic hard shell carrying case. Prospective bidders should note that the serial number on the manufacturer’s label attached to the included case, 11Y00830, does not match the serial number on the firearm. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol is in overall good condition. The matte black finish remains largely intact but shows some light surface scratches and minor handling wear on the frame and slide. There is minor surface oxidation visible on the exposed portion of the barrel hood. The bore is bright with sharp, well-defined rifling. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The black polymer grips are in good condition with crisp checkering and no significant chips or cracks.
