Description
This is a 1858 Remington Black Powder Cylinder designed for use with Remington-style percussion revolvers, specifically the Model 1858. It features a six-round capacity, allowing for black powder to fire. The unit is constructed from steel with a polished blued finish and features six precisely machined nipples. Note – As an antique or black powder firearm, this item does not require a background check.
Condition report:
The cylinder is in very good to excellent condition, showing no significant signs of use or wear. The polished blued finish is deep and consistent throughout, with no visible thinning, scratches, or oxidation. The six chambers are bright and clean, and the bolt stops are crisp and well-defined. The accompanying accessories, including the hard case and velvet bag, are in excellent condition, while the factory box shows only minor shelf wear consistent with storage.
