Description
This lot consists of 100 rounds of .44 Magnum ammunition housed in two green MTM Case-Gard P-50 flip-top storage boxes. The ammunition is a mixed collection of handloads featuring various brass casings and projectiles. Headstamps present on the casings include SUPER-X, W-W SUPER, R – P, REM-UMC, F C, and norma, all of which are marked for .44 Magnum caliber. The projectiles are primarily lead semi-wadcutters, though at least one jacketed soft point round is included in the count. The cartridges are stored in 50-round plastic containers manufactured by MTM Case-Gard. As these are reloaded rounds of unknown origin, they are cataloged as components for salvage or reference purposes.
Condition report:
The ammunition shows significant signs of age and storage wear. The brass casings exhibit varying degrees of oxidation, with several rounds displaying heavy green verdigris. The lead projectiles show a dull gray patina. The plastic storage boxes are in good, functional condition with minor surface scuffs. The rounds appear to be live, but the mechanical reliability and safety of these handloads have not been tested.
