Description
This Kahr Arms P40 is a semi-automatic double-action-only pistol chambered in .40 S&W, designed as a compact defensive firearm. It features a 3.6-inch barrel and a matte stainless steel slide with rear cocking serrations, paired with a black textured polymer frame. The grip features molded texturing and the Kahr logo. The pistol is equipped with a fixed white-dot front sight and a bar-dot rear sight. Verbatim markings include P40 and KAHR on the left side of the slide, KAHR ARMS WORCESTER, MA on the left side of the frame, and .40S&W P on the barrel chamber hood. The serial number N001033 is clearly marked on a metal plate on the right side of the grip. Included with the firearm are three stainless steel magazines, comprising one flush-fit and two with extended polymer base plates, along with the original serialized hard case, manual, trigger lock, and chamber flag. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The matte stainless steel slide is in good condition but exhibits several small spots of brown surface oxidation on the top and sides. The black polymer frame shows very little wear, with the texturing remaining sharp. The bore was not inspected, but the chamber hood shows light mechanical wear consistent with standard use. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm.
