Description
This Century Arms Inc C15 Sporter is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in .223 caliber (5.56 mm) designed in a classic A2 configuration. The rifle features a 20-inch barrel fitted with a birdcage flash hider and a fixed A2-style front sight post that includes a bayonet lug and a forward sling swivel. The upper receiver is a fixed carry handle type with an integrated dual-aperture adjustable rear sight. The metal surfaces are finished in a matte black, paired with a black synthetic fixed buttstock featuring a trapdoor storage compartment, a textured polymer pistol grip, and a full-length ribbed polymer handguard. Key markings on the left side of the lower receiver include Century Arms Inc, Georgia, VT, C15 Sporter, .223 cal. (5.56 mm), and Made in USA. The serial number is transcribed as CM 00516. The front sight base is stamped with the number 2872. Included with the lot is one black polymer 10-round Magpul PMAG 10 GEN M3 magazine. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The firearm is in overall good condition. The matte black finish on the metal components shows some light scuffs and surface wear, with more noticeable finish loss on the edges of the front sight assembly. The synthetic buttstock exhibits visible scuffs and handling marks consistent with use. The polymer handguard and pistol grip are in good condition with sharp texturing. The action appears to function correctly when manually cycled, however, we have not function-tested this firearm.
