Description
This lot consists of three wooden stocks designed for bolt-action rifles. The collection includes two finished stocks and one unfinished project stock, all featuring inletting for a receiver and a tapered barrel channel. The top stock is composed of dark-stained wood with a semi-gloss finish, while the middle stock features a reddish-brown tone and a more pronounced pistol grip. The bottom stock is an unfinished, light-colored wood blank suitable for custom fitting. All three items are missing their respective actions, barrels, and all metal hardware including butt plates, trigger guards, and sling swivels. No manufacturer markings, serial numbers, or caliber designations are present on the wood.
Condition report:
The stocks exhibit a range of conditions from used to unfinished. The two finished stocks show typical surface wear, including minor dings, scratches, and light scuffs consistent with handling. The semi-gloss finish on the uppermost stock remains largely intact. The unfinished stock is in raw condition with some surface dirt and minor scuffs. No significant cracks or structural repairs are visible on any of the three pieces.
