Sold for: $250
Description
This collection consists of 21 individual firearm components, featuring a variety of handgun grips and long gun forends. The assortment includes six target-style wooden handgun grips, several of which incorporate thumb rests, finger grooves, and one example featuring an adjustable palm shelf. Also included are six checkered wooden forends, typically utilized for pump-action shotguns or semi-automatic rifles, and a selection of handgun grip panels in both wood and synthetic materials. Notable synthetic components include black rubber wrap-around grips and individual panels. Key markings identified on the rubber components include the verbatim text Pachmayr LOS ANGELES USA and Signature Model. The wooden pieces are crafted from various hardwoods with finishes ranging from natural to a dark reddish-brown, many featuring functional checkering or textured surfaces designed for enhanced grip.
Condition report:
The items are in good used condition overall. The wooden components show varying degrees of surface wear, including scattered scuffs, minor dings, and thinning of the finish, particularly on the edges of the target grips and forends. The checkering remains generally sharp and well-defined on most pieces. The synthetic and rubber components show light handling marks and surface soiling consistent with use but remain supple and free of significant cracking or material deterioration.
