Description
This sporterized bolt-action rifle is built on a Remington Model 1903A3 receiver and has been rechambered for the .308 Norma Magnum cartridge. The firearm features a surplus Remington Arms barrel that retains its original military markings near the muzzle. The metal components exhibit a deep blued finish, complemented by a polished bolt handle and body. The rifle is mounted in a custom Monte Carlo-style wood stock with a high-gloss finish, featuring a prominent cheek rest and a black rubber recoil pad. The receiver is fitted with a Redfield scope base and rings, which bear a circled R logo. Key markings include the serial number 3943393 on the receiver bridge. Barrel markings near the muzzle are transcribed as R A above a flaming bomb proof mark and 9-43, while the area near the receiver is engraved 308 NORMA. The stock is finished with an UNCLE MIKES By Michaels of Oregon recoil pad and includes sling swivel studs on the forend and buttstock. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The metal components retain a high percentage of their blued finish with some faint surface wear and minor handling marks. The polished bolt shows minimal wear. The custom wood stock is in good condition, exhibiting a high-gloss finish with light dings and minor surface scratches consistent with use. The bore was not inspected. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm for safety or live-fire capability.
