Description
This H&R 1871 Pardner Pump is a 12-gauge pump-action shotgun configured for field use and chambered for 2 3/4-inch or 3-inch shells. The firearm is equipped with a 28-inch barrel featuring a full-length ventilated rib and a green fiber-optic front sight. The receiver and barrel display a matte black finish, paired with a black synthetic stock and forend that include molded-in checkering and a black rubber recoil pad. Key markings include the manufacturer and model designation H&R 1871, LLC over PARDNER PUMP on the left side of the receiver, while the right side is marked with the serial number NZ754846 above MADE IN CHINA and HAWK INDUSTRIES CO. LTD. The barrel is explicitly marked H&R 1871, LLC ILION, NY over PARDNER PUMP – 12 GA – 2 3/4″ OR 3″ and bears an oval REP proof mark. The shotgun is fitted with a cross-bolt safety located at the rear of the trigger guard. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The shotgun is in good overall condition, with the matte black finish showing minor surface scuffs and light handling wear on the receiver and barrel. The synthetic furniture is well-preserved with only faint signs of use. The action appears to function correctly when cycled, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The bore was not inspected.
