Description
This Chiappa Firearms Model 1873 SAA is a single-action revolver chambered in .17 HMR with a 10-shot capacity. The firearm features a 7.5-inch barrel with a matte black finish throughout the frame and cylinder. It is fitted with black checkered polymer grips that include gold-tone manufacturer’s medallions. The sighting system consists of a fixed blade front sight and an adjustable rear sight. Key markings include the model designation Chiappa 1873SA and the serial number CFIT24D08921. Barrel markings specify Chiappa Firearms, Dayton, OH. The frame is further marked .17HMR Chiappa Firearms and CF-ITALY. This item appears to be in brand new condition and is accompanied by its original factory cardboard box, owner’s manual, cleaning brush, red plastic safety washer, and manufacturer’s hang tags. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The firearm is in excellent condition, appearing brand new and unused. The matte black finish is consistent across all surfaces with no visible wear, scratches, or thinning. The bore is bright with sharp, well-defined rifling. The action appears to function correctly, and the cylinder lock-up is tight, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The checkered polymer grips are in excellent condition with no dings or handling marks.
