Description

This lot of 3 rifle parts guns consists of three major serialized Winchester pump-action rifle assemblies and a collection of associated components intended for restoration or salvage. The group includes a Winchester Model 61 barreled receiver chambered for .22 Short, Long, or Long Rifle, featuring a ribbed wooden pump forend. Key markings on this unit include the model designation and Winchester Proof Steel stamp, with the serial number 91943 located on the underside of the receiver. Also included is a Winchester Model 06 barreled receiver, similarly chambered for .22 caliber rimfire cartridges. This barrel is marked with the manufacturer’s name, patent dates through 1911, and the serial number 202994. The third major component is a Winchester Model 1890 or 1906 lower receiver and walnut buttstock assembly, which bears the Winchester Trade Mark on the upper tang and serial number 27270 on the lower tang. The lot is further comprised of a spare .22 caliber barrel, an additional wooden buttstock, two separate wooden pump handles, several magazine tubes, a sleeve of Brownells .22 caliber barrel liners, and a collection of small internal screws and parts. These items are missing numerous internal components, sights, and magazines. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.

Condition report:

The components are in poor project condition, exhibiting heavy overall surface rust, deep pitting, and significant oxidation on all metal surfaces. The wooden stocks show extensive wear, dings, and scratches, with the name G.R. BROWN carved into one buttstock. The bores have not been inspected, and the actions have not been function-tested. This lot is sold strictly for parts or repair.
