Description

This Rock Island Armory Model 206 is a compact double action/single action revolver chambered in .38 Special, configured for personal defense and concealed carry. The firearm features a 2-inch barrel and a 6-shot fluted cylinder. The metal surfaces are finished in a matte black Parkerized coating. It is currently fitted with smooth wood grips featuring checkered side panels, and the lot includes a set of alternative black synthetic finger-groove grips. The revolver is equipped with a fixed ramp front sight and an integral frame notch rear sight. Key markings include the model designation Model 206 and CAL. 38 SPL. on the left side of the barrel, while the left side of the frame bears the Rock Island Armory mountain logo. The right side of the frame is marked with the serial number RIA2655899 and import marks APINTL-PAHRUMP NV / ACP PHILIPPINES. The cylinder crane is stamped with ZY and A. Included with the firearm are its original factory box with matching serial number labels, a black soft carrying case, a user’s manual, a cleaning brush, a cable lock, an Allen wrench, and a plastic chamber flag. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.

Condition report:

The revolver retains a high percentage of its original Parkerized finish, with minor wear visible on the high edges and a light turn line on the cylinder. There are small areas of light surface oxidation present on the trigger guard and frame edges. The bore appears bright with well-defined rifling. The action appears to function correctly in both double and single action, though we have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition. The wood grips show minimal handling marks, and the included accessories are in good to excellent condition.
